Integrative Nutrition

In integrative nutrition appointments, the focus is on nurturing your body and mind in a holistic way. It's not just about what you eat but also about how you relate to food and your overall well-being. These sessions help you explore your emotional connection to food and develop a mindful approach to eating. They may incorporate practices like yoga, breathwork, and meditation to address both physical, spiritual, and emotional aspects of health. Additionally, appointments include personalized meal planning, tailored to your unique needs and preferences. By combining traditional and integrative strategies, the goal is to help you understand your body's needs better and make lasting changes for a healthier, more balanced life.

Please note it is not a requirement for us to include anything outside of nutrition in your sessions. If you are interested in a more traditional nutrition approach, we will discuss in our initial session.

Frequently Asked Question

What is an in-home appointment?

This is where I drive to you! Having the appointment in your home offers several potential benefits:

  1. Comfort: Some clients may feel more comfortable and relaxed in their own environment.

  2. Personalized Assessment: Being in your home together allows me to get a better understanding of your kitchen setup, food storage options, and daily routines. This can facilitate more personalized recommendations that are practical and feasible for you to implement.

  3. Hands-On Guidance: I can provide hands-on guidance and practical demonstrations, such as cooking lessons or putting a meal together.

  4. Family Involvement: If you live with family members or caregivers, having the appointment at home allows them to participate in the discussion and learn about healthy eating habits, which can benefit the entire household.

What can I expect during an initial appointment?

I start with a thorough assessment of your current lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Based on this, we craft a personalized wellness plan suited to your individual needs.

What makes InSpires Wellness different?

What is a superbill?

A superbill is a document I may provide to you for potential partial or full insurance reimbursement. You pay for your appointment up-front, and then submit the superbill to your insurance company.

I highly encourage all clients to contact your insurance company and ask about coverage for medical nutrition therapy.

*Please note, not everyone qualifies for a superbill.
